This hunting lease is leased and not available. This lease will be for field hunting waterfowl. Fields will have oats and canola stubble to hunt along with an area that was planted for cover crop of oats and canola, but will be grazed by cattle. On the day of inspection, geese were flying back onto the water after feeding in the fields. Landowners would like hunters to stay off the water to provide a refuge for the waterfowl to use. This will result in great field hunting of the Canada, Snow geese and ducks that will use the area during the migration. Cattle may be present during part of the fall on one cover crop area, but landowners are willing to move if hunters contact them prior to hunting. Landowners are really accommodating and want the hunters to have have a successful hunt. Landowners have additional property for lease for further waterfowl or deer hunting opportunities as well.

ATV use ok for game retrieval or decoy placement.

Camping possible.

Coyote trapper present in winter to reduce coyote population.

Langdon also has motels and restaurants for hunters.

Cavalier County will be doing a dredging project on the channels of the wetland which will last about a week this fall.
